Skills matter more than your CV
Why we do not select on a CV but on what you can do, and how the skills table works.
11 October 2026 · WorkForce-NL
A CV tells you where you have worked. It says little about what you can do right now. That is why at WorkForce-NL skills count ten times more than a CV. We do not shuffle CVs: we look for the professional who fits the assignment.
How does it work?
- You sign up. You leave your details and indicate in which region you are looking for an assignment.
- We make your skills table together. As soon as we see a suitable candidate, we go through your skills with you. For each skill you indicate your level: basic, intermediate, advanced or expert.
- We make a skills table for the assignment. With the client as well, we make a table per assignment with the skills that are needed.
- We put them side by side. That way you and we can see what the assignment asks for and what you can do, before anyone is proposed.
Why is this better?
- For the freelancer: you are approached for assignments that really fit your experience, not just your job title.
- For the client: you know in advance where you stand, and get carefully selected professionals instead of a pile of CVs.
- For the project: fewer surprises on the first working day.
